Limerick Tutorial College would like to make you aware that they will be running a HPAT Ireland preparation course for those students sitting the exam on February 25th 2012.  The course will consist of six Sundays from 1.30pm - 5.30-pm.

Students will be exposed to the full testing experience in order to ensure that they are familiar with and understand individual sections as well as the test as a whole. Each Sunday’s schedule will vary in order to maximise and develop their exam technique and their ability to tackle the various sections. The benefits of speed reading will be highlighted throughout the course. All full tests or sections examined will be assessed and reviewed either on the day of each exam or on subsequent Sundays as appropriate.

This is the fourth year of the HPAT Ireland Admission Examination and it has become apparent that this exam cannot be over emphasised or underestimated. One of the top three grades in HPAT 2010 which was achieved by a student at this College was the equivalent of over two A1 grades at higher level in the Leaving Certificate.

HPAT Ireland is not based on any curriculum or subject areas. The only preparation advisable for this type of exam is repeated exposure to exam technique, structure and style. It is also helpful to practice using machine-readable answer sheets similar to the one in the actual test.

The total cost of the preparation course will be €475
