A substantial number of students at Limerick Tutorial College come from outside the Limerick area. For these young people, living away from home can be as big an endeavor as studying for the leaving Certificate itself. That’s why the College dedicates considerable resources into making sure all its non-local students are well housed and well looked after.

Limerick Tutorial College has an accommodation officer who vets the houses of a number of Landlords / Landladies. Any rented accommodation approved is subsequently monitored on a continuous basis to ensure proper standards are maintained. For those who don’t wish to stay in digs, there are also other forms of accommodation available, within the city and its environs. The College, if needed, can advise you on what’s most suitable.

Limerick today is a bustling city with many attractions. The College tried to help non-local students enjoy living here. For many, living away from home can be just as much a learning experience as attending the College itself.
